Game Design: Webelos Adventure

This adventure is an elective adventure which can be used to earn the Webelos and Arrow of Light Badges. In this adventure, you have to complete all requirements. 1. Decide on elements for a game. 2. List at least 5 of the online safety rules that you put into practice while using the internet on your computer. 3. Create your game. I created my game at Gamestar Mechanic. Pick one type of engineer. With the help of the Internet, your local library, or an engineer, discover three things that describe what that engineer does. Outdoorsman: Arrow of Light Required Adventure

This is a required adventure used to earn the Arrow of Light Badge. I decided to complete  Option A: Requirement A1:  With the help of your den leader of family, plan and participate in a campout. This summer I went camping with my pack at Point Lookout.  (6/3/2017) Requirement A2:  On arrival at the campout, with your den and den leader or family, determine where to set up your tent. Demonstrate knowledge of what makes a good tent site and what makes a bad one. Set up your tent without help from an adult. We arrived a day after the pack arrived. Two of my friends had already set up a tent. Mr. Jim said that if I could get them to break it down and get them to help me set it back up then I could get this marked off. So my friends helped me take the tent down and we worked together to set it back up. Complete Requirements 1-4 and at least two others. 1. State the safety precautions you need to take before doing any water activity. (7/27/2017) * Reviewed my handbook and with my mom. I first learned the safety precautions at Point Lookout with my Pack. (6/3/2017) Scouts must follow Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat. Safety Afloat is for boating. My Den Leader told us to remember PDQBALLS. Remember to always follow PDQBALLS ! Physical Fitness Has to be cleared to swim by a physician, parent, or legal guardian.  Discipline Scouts should respect and follow all directions and rules of the adult supervisor.  Qualified Supervision All swimming activity must be supervised by a mature and conscientious adult. This adventure is an elective adventure which can be used to earn the Webelos and Arrow of Light Badges. In this adventure, you have to complete the following requirements. 1. Learn about some basic tools and proper use of each tool. Learn about and understand the need for safety when you work with tools.  At the "Craftsman" station at Day Camp we learned about safety when using tools. We also learned about different types of tools, how to use them the right way and how to be safe when using them. They camp instructors made sure we understood what was safe and how to use the tools before we got the chance to build or burn anything. Explain the meaning of the word "geology."  Jeremiah told me what the meaning of the word on "Geology" was on (6/28/2017) after coming home from Camp Linstead.
